From Excel to an Enterprise Scheduling View

Teach For America recruits college graduates of all majors and career interests to teach in urban areas across the United States. The recruits attend a five-week training program at one of six host universities. Interviewing and training at multiple sites across the country require scheduling for hundreds of recruits and staff members.

"Prior to using Flash Appointments, we used Excel files with intensive macros to schedule our summer staff interviews. It was a real challenge, and we couldn't create a national scheduling view.

The use of Flash Appointments has saved considerable man hours and has had a significant impact on our organization. We like the automatic email notifcations and reports, which help us reconcile interview activities.

We added skill sets to the mix. This means if a school needs math teachers, we can better meet the needs of interviewees and schools during the scheduling process.
